12th Parliament Dissolution, when?

When does Prime Minister of Malaysia dissolve the 12th Parliament of Malaysia?  This question is lingering in my head and also your head and also to the rest of the Malaysian.  At this writing, the states of Negeri Sembilan is already automatically resolved and now run by the caretaker government which is the previous government.  Election Commission informed to the public that they have 60 days period of time for them to call an election for this state which was dissolved automatically on 27 March 2013.  The last date to call for election should be on 27 Mei 2013.  First time in history of Malaysia that the state assembly is dissolved automatically.  Hopefully, PM dissolve the parliament within this period and not waiting for automatic dissolution  again.  If wait again, then "last minute" is the appropriate phrase for the PM.

Toughest Elections in Malaysian history

This time the election is considered by most Malaysians to be the toughest battle between the ruling government and the opposition pact.

The opposition pact supports the people's aspiration and demands. A few of the opposition manifesto is lowering the oil prices, free education, abolishing loans, abolishing AES implementation, giving back higher oil royalties to states producing oil, breaking monopolies, no corruption anymore and so much other things. The manifestos attracts all group ages and all races.  The chances of winning this election with 2/3 majority is very high.

But the drawbacks would be of no airtime coverage by main stream media.  Maybe there is coverage but surely be twisted to benefit the ruling government.  The campaigning fund is also a major problem unlikely the ruling government which can attracts voters by giving of financial gift/aid of RM250-RM500.  These drawbacks is tackled by the opposition pact by campaigning directly to the crowd and also using the internet media as well.  The fund maybe collected through donations by individuals attending the talks and fund raising dinner.

For the rulling government, they face the allegations of misconducts and briberies of their own allies which are widely known by Malaysians. The corruption is not a small amount of money, it involves billions of ringgits and hundreds hectares of land.  And the leaders also has worst history of misconducts and corruptions.  But they have the main stream media in their sleeves.  All airtimes is for the ruling government to convince Malaysians that the current ruling government is good and promising a great future ahead.

They also have so much money that most Malaysians receive a financial gift/aid of RM500 twice and also RM250 to youngsters.  Apart from that, projects by projects were announced to the needy areas.  Well, this is enough to lure the voters to vote the ruling goverment.

The toughest battle must be won by either side.  There maybe strategies that be implemented by both to win.  The strategies might be good or bad.  Maybe some dirty tactics like money politics, politician jumps here and there or other tactics.

I hope the campaign period and election time runs smoothly without any dark incidents.

I have made up my mind on which to vote.  Have you made up yours?

Happy Voting.
